Payment infrastructure
built for real
businesses.
Since 2022, we have been connecting companies across Ireland with automation tools that make payment processing less of a burden and more of a foundation.
A problem worth solving properly
Most businesses do not struggle because their products are weak. They struggle because the systems underneath - billing cycles, reconciliation, gateway routing - demand constant manual attention. Our team noticed this pattern across dozens of client conversations and decided to address it directly.
Xahucuu was built around a single observation: payment processing should not require a dedicated person to babysit it. With the right automation layer, finance teams can redirect roughly 14 hours per week toward work that actually moves the business forward.
We are based in Fermoy, Cork, and we work with clients throughout the country. Geography has never been a reason to limit access to proper financial tooling, so every service we offer is designed to function fully online, with support available remotely.
- 1 Automated reconciliation that catches discrepancies before they become disputes
- 2 Multi-gateway routing that selects the lowest-cost path per transaction
- 3 Real-time reporting without exporting spreadsheets manually
Our reconciliation module processes up to 8,000 transactions per hour without human review.
The people behind the platform
A small team with a narrow focus tends to go deeper than a large one spread thin. Our 11-person core team covers engineering, integration support, and client success - nothing else.
Orlaith Fennelly
Chief Executive Officer
Orlaith spent seven years building payment routing logic for European e-commerce platforms before co-founding Xahucuu. She oversees product direction and client partnerships, with a particular interest in reducing reconciliation friction for mid-size retailers.
Darragh Quinlivan
Head of Engineering
Darragh leads the technical team and has personally built or overseen 12 of the payment API integrations currently running in production. His background is in distributed systems, and he is particular about uptime - the platform has maintained 99.6% availability over the past 18 months.
Sinéad Moriarty
Client Success Lead
Sinéad has coordinated every client onboarding since the company launched. She tracks how long it takes new clients to reach their first automated reconciliation run - currently averaging 6 working days from contract signing - and works to shorten that number continuously.
How we actually work with clients
There is no discovery phase that runs for 8 weeks before anything gets built. Our onboarding process is structured around getting a working integration into a client's environment within the first 2 weeks, then refining from there based on real transaction data.
Most clients come to us after trying to patch together 3 or 4 separate tools - a payment gateway, a reconciliation script, a reporting plugin - and finding that the gaps between them create more work than the tools save. We replace that stack with a single connected system.
Scoped integration, not open-ended consulting
Every engagement starts with a defined scope: which payment providers you use, what your current reconciliation process looks like, and where the manual steps are. We do not bill for exploration - we bill for delivered functionality.
Configuration over custom code where possible
About 70% of client requirements can be met through configuration rather than custom development. This keeps implementation time short and makes future changes easier to manage without engineering involvement.
Ongoing support tied to actual usage
Support is not a call centre. Clients have a named contact who knows their setup. When something changes - a new payment provider, a volume spike, a regulatory update - there is one person to reach, not a ticket queue.
